I'm about to make the rose on a 6-course renaissence lute. I was looking through the Lundberg book but, although it shows the technique exellently, the lute patterns are more like scetches. The lines doesnt line up, and I'm too lazy to redraw it...

Then I was thing, ther must be patterns available on the net! I checked van Edwards site, but found only pictures of finished roses.

Do anyone know of a source for this type of info?

Wow Colin, that would be great! This is my first attempt of lutebuilding(but have built several guitars though) and use the technique of cutting a rose, so any help would be very appreciated. I have only read the Robert Lundberg book, where he cuts the pattern with a scalpel, but I guess the larger areas could be roughed with the dremel? Well thats just a thought, i'd love to learn your technique as well.
